  • From half-bottle. The wine was medium amber in colour and offered orange marmalade, quince, mango, pear, caramel, tea and some nutty notes on the nose. On the palate the wine was very, very sweet, with orange marmalade, quince, apricot, mango, pear, tea, botrytis spice, boatloads of burned caramel and some nutty notes, paired with medium to medium-plus acidity and incredible length. If I had to break this down to only four words it would be “immensely sweet burned caramel”.
