  • Notes below are entirely in agreement with mine: light bodied, nuanced, subtle, strawberry, forest, beautiful, a winner.

  • Pale translucent ruby. Nose of fervent violets, fresh-cut berry, tilled earth. Layers of dark berry, iodine, and crushed rock on the focused, piercing palate. Brisk acidity and young tannin. Long finish of crisp dark berry and atomized stone. Quite young but already striking and beautiful.

  • PnP. Paler color, but gorgeous cherry and raspberry fruit with some strawberry underneath, forest floor and slight mushroom, spice, still has a trace of oak derived smoke in the finish. Really starting to come into its own, but this has years ahead of it. Lighter body, but incredibly elegant, with medium acidity, and integrated tannins. Classic Dundee Hills red fruit character. Again, this is a wine for people who prefer subtlety and elegance over power. Don't let the lighter body fool you, there's a lot of depth and intensity here and this has the structure and bones to age for at least 15 years from the vintage. My note from 11/2022 said wait five years and that's still good advice, but the memory of how good this is got to me, so I checked in four years too early. Two bottles left and this time, I really hope I can wait until at least 2025 or 2026. This is beautiful now, but this seems like it's got a lot more to show.

  • Slow O'd for an hour; paired with grilled sockeye salmon. Light in color, belying the wine's full flavors. Nice balance of fruit and acid; excellent with food. More of a small-sipper than a quaffer, and one keeps coming back for more tastes. Ready to go, but will likely improve with time; drink or hold.

  • Similar to last bottle. Slightly more developed, silky and smooth. Berries and some forest. A very nice Pinot.
