I wonder if my taste buds are that different than my fellow trackers. It has been 7 years since I last tried a bottle. Was it as good as it was, no but it is still a lot better than the ratings given to it. I actually wish I had a case left as this wine is a lot better than wines 3 and 4 times its price. I opened it two hours before dinner. The nose was dark berries, the palate was dark berries, plums, rhubarb, tree bark and bacon. A moderate to long finish. Absolute great QPR. Served with pan seared then oven roasted duck breasts.

Practice tasting with Dad ;). We should have started earlier! The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like stoniness, mushroom, dust and skunk. It tastes like cedar, bark and lead pencil. The body is light/medium. The wine has angular texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

PnP through Nuance Wine Finer. Reddish purple color. Red berries on the nose, a little oak. Light body, slightly tart, soft tannins. A little thin on the palate. Nothing remarkable. 87pts. Aloha!
