Last bottle, dang, got better and better. Lovely earthy ripe fruit, just want to keep sticking your nose in the glass -- glaceed fruit, bing cherry, plum, touch o' woodspice but balanced.

Very dark in appearance. The nose is muted at first though over time it opens up, revealing some secondary aromas. The palate seems very closed. It's powerful, masculine, but just not quite open for business. This needs another five years in the cellar at least, but certainly has good potential, though I wouldn't necessarily assume that potential will be realized. Right now it's probably only an 89, but my range would be 89-93.

Salt and pepper on the nose, not very pronouced. Where did you go from the last time I tasted you? Full and rich on the palate though. A touch of Brett. Just opened, we shall see.
Five hours open it still didn't broaden out to me. Stay rather shy. Hmmm... not sure what to think.

Nice! Deep brilliant dark in color, assertive nose of black fruit, spice and a touch of oak. Young and a tad tight now, but it opens up to exotic ripe fruit, spice, almost a buckwheat/grain type quality. Yum!

Showing even better, loosening up some, lovely dark fruit and jammy spicy goodness. But balanced, not an overblown big year.
