After three days of small tastings finally the wine blossomed and showed a very precise style with some fresh red fruit and a hint of vanilla. The wine didn't sing, because the wine was quite linear, not showing some fun, but technically a good product. So missing a soul and well made; the combination exists as this wine shows.

  This Fixin was hard as a nail! :-) Naw not that hard but there was a healthy amount of acidity and red young fruit. I can't even remember when I had a Fixin last so I don't know how Perrot Minot compares to others. But it really seemed that this should have some years in the cellar, no doubt. I really liked it.
