Beautiful Amarone as described in recent notes by others. Years left in it. Drink now or in 10 years... probably best for full body fruit lovers in next 2 or 3 years

Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish/ brick rim.
Beautiful nose of blueberries, black plums, cooked cherries, oak, light licorice, earth, chocolates, tobacco leaf, light must, peppercorn, raisins, herbs, dried figs and light alcohol.
Full bodied, smooth and elegant, with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and very fruity on the palate with black currants, sweet plums, cooked cherries, oak, light vanilla, spices, tobacco, peppercorn, espresso, chocolates, earth, herbs and licorice.
Spicy long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This 14 year old Amarone is still delicious, with a beautiful color and a great nose. Tangy and very spicy.
Elegant and fruit forward. Easy drinking and good right out of the bottle.
Will not last much longer, so drink up if you have one.
Robert Parker 90 points.
Paired nicely with Pizza.
A blend of 70% Corvina and Corvinone, and 30% of indigenous grapes. Aged in French oak barrels for 18 months.
15.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.
$50(current vintage).

Color is on orangish-red, nose of cherries, but get some alcohol on the nose, pretty big wine, nice acidity, can tell the alcohol is there, has a hint of smokiness, red fruit flavors. Very nice for the price.

Vinturied, decanted..not sure this can get any better, lush ripe, a bit of rust on the edges, but overall a spanking example of this grape. Drink now and up to 2 years...maybe.
