Aromatics: lychee, bruised apple, and booze. Palate: Pretty fat. Some lemon and apple yield to a very waxy/oily flavor. Finish is short but the heat is high. Low acidity. A chore to drink @14.5%. Perhaps this could have used some more SB.

Love this vintage. Tastes like grapes. Maybe wine is not supposed to but it does and i like it. L ecole has this in library. I will get more. Highly recommend.

(L'Ecole No. 41 Semillon Columbia Valley) Lightly aromatic and appealing with fig, spice, tropical notes and toast. The palate is broad with a textured feel leading to a warm finish. 87% Sémillon, 13% Sauvignon Blanc. Klipsun, Rosebud, Desert Wind, Stillwater Creek, Seven Hills and Les Collines vineyards. Barrel fermented and aged in new and neutral French oak. 14.5% alcohol. 5,365 cases produced. Sample provided by winery.
