L.2013. P&p; takes several minutes to start opening up, and really needs 2+ hours of air in the bottle to come into its own. Aromas of pine needles, smoke, earth, black pepper, and dark-reddish fruit and flowers, all slightly savory/meaty. Fairly light-bodied, with plenty of acidity, light tannins, and best of all a hefty, all-encompassing current of saline and stony minerality. Tasty, refreshing and highly drinkable, but with depth and a general seriousness as well; pretty sure I wouldn't guess the Trollinger connection (from the few I've tried). Offers quite a bit of character and interest; fun to drink. Long, stony, saline finish. The value proposition is far from obvious at first, but ends up seeming perfectly reasonable.
