Notes of baked apple, baking spice, butter, hints of tropical/stone fruit and oak. I prefer my chards with less oak/malolactic fermentation but I know many enjoy this style. Good to know Ohio can compete with Cali examples though most of those aren't single vineyard and are $10 less. It would be nice if the vineyard's contributions to the wine would show more than the barrel's.
