Hint of sour from going downhill, to me; though I realize opinions and tastes vary in this regard. Very light. You really need to think of this as a Pinot-lovers Syrah, or Syrah-overs Pinot, to be pleased. If you think of it as a standard Cali Syrah, you'll be disappointed. If I had any more, I'd be drinking them over the holidays, with Pinot-food.

Quite surprised, disappointingly so, in the thin body and light flavor. This is a Syrah?!? At an hour+ it developed into something of minimal interest with roasted chicken. Perhaps a two hour decant on the next will be of some help. Still, decent value at $10 and an inoffensive sip.

Light and on the thin side, but it has decent Syrah character and the 10.4% alcohol is much appreciated on those nights when you want some wine with dinner without getting buzzed.

Yes, this is light. It's 10.4% ABV. It's lovely, it's not crazy complex, but enjoyable and a great wine to serve at a BBQ.
