Drab and disappointing. Lacks fruit; lacks complexity; lacks interest. You'd be better off either spending $20 more and getting a more interesting wine or spending $20 less and feeling like you got the same thing for less money!

Inky black purple. Nose shows cedar, black fruit and spice. Soft and round on the palate with black stone fruit, cedar. Nice long finish. Diggin this one again.

Very nice dark red fruit and coffee. well balanced with a decent finish. Just a bit of heat. Plenty of stuffing. I think i will let the other two bottles sit for quite a while longer.

Mailing List/New Releases Offline (Brentwood, CA): Nice nose of currants, espresso, and lead pencil. The palate mirrors the nose, although the finish turns slightly vegetal. 87-88 points.
