Bit of an oddity at this point. Is a deep golden yellow color, honeycomb nose and a rich taste. So far so average. But then the finish kicks in and there is green fruit underlying everything. Long finish, still plenty of acidity. Tasted at the winery. Didn’t buy any but was happy to have tried

From memory: oxidized golden brown color, well perfumed nose, somewhat heavy oak influence, also has a buttery flavor, there is an underlying minerality that struggles to come out past the oak. Would have liked to have seen more flavors from the grapes as opposed to oak/malolactic fermentation. Good, but not quite worth the price, paired relatively well with swordfish.
