90 points. 9 years of age, 5 at home. Opened with a beautiful bone in rib eye from LB meat & vino. The nose is jammy, like a cooked down fresh strawberry jab, ripe sugar that’s turns into all spice. Balanced with silky tannins. Med finish, Long legs. Was a bit under the weather, and darci rated

Very berry and yummy. This is the vintage that convinced me to become a Marinus member at Bernardus. Sorry I don't have better notes, but I am in heaven when drinking this wine.

Tasted at Bernardus tasting room in Carmel Valley. The most interesting but slightly atypical Bordeaux blend I've ever tasted. Completely balanced, smooth and nuanced but not "Cab-like". Almost had a little Pinot Noir character. Delicious and haunting but don't think I could justify the winery's $125 list price.

W venison chop. Just very good balanced cab, not over the top power. At the top now. Risking a downward slide is not worth it.

Soft red berries, cloves, sweet, some licorice, silky, perfumy, mint, a bit of sour bitter tannin at the end on the tip of the tongue
