Think I’m catching this wine at a wonderful moment - it speaks to both Rhône and bedrock house style, in a very good, natural-overlap sort of way. I get Bedrock texture and mouthfeel, with milk chocolate notes, nice acidity and a touch of orange zest. It really is a mashup of Gigondas/CDP with bedrock. Not shy on flavor but not thick either. Lovely.

I really enjoyed this. I think the best way to describe this Grenache blend is that it is a very 'pretty' wine. Lighter in color and on the palate with a subtle elegance to the red fruits and a slight bit of rusticity that adds a great deal of intrigue. While it might not be the deepest or the most exciting Bedrock ever, it's an excellent and very well made wine that was exactly what I was looking for tonight.

80% Grenache, 20% Cinsault. Strawberry on the nose and palette, and other red fruits. Nice acidity and blood orange notes. 14.5% alcohol but for some reason it doesn’t seem hot to me (usually at 14.5 I get distracted by the alcohol). At its prime, drink now or within the next two years.

This drinks like a really good Cotes du Rhône. Thoroughly enjoyable — not profound, but who cares? Cheers!

Murky purple, balanced with a touch of acidity on the finish. Medium finish. Overall enjoyable, but not blowing me away.
