Wow!!! This was stunning - aroma, mouth-feel, taste and finish. It is still young. This tastes far better than an entry level Bourgogne. It seems as though it has some Grand Cru juice in it.

Wow, Raphet's wines are incredible from this humble entry level to his top stuff. Stunning quality for Borgogne rouge, just hard to find a lot of.
Beautiful red and black fruits, damp forest floor, hint of mushroom, and a touch of smokey game. Smooth tannins, refreshing acidity, and great concentration. Complex and balanced just as a quality Burgundy should be.

Such a great QPR--don't think I've ever had a Bourgogne AOC at this level. Nothing mindblowing here, but a thoughtful, balanced wine that bests village-labeled wines at 3x the price. Wish I had the room to store a few cases, because this is hard to beat for the price and will probably improve with a few years.

Young, fruit-forward. Not too complex, good for drinking early.
