A week after sampling the same vintage of their" Chalk Hill" designation. On nose and palate: some similarities to the Chalk Hill, with slightly less backbone, and a softer, buttery note, but the oak, apple and light citrus notes still hit the spot .....at $5.00 less and two points lower, still a decent choice.

Rodney Strong wines are above average for entry level wines for whites and reds. . Good QPR @13. Never great wines, but great value for price. Light straw color, pleasant taste and finish. Not overly oaked. Everyday great drinker, especially with big party.
