BYO Litteraturhuset (Litteraturhuset i Oslo): Klar, funklende rød.

Popped and poured at a restaurant in Italy, then decanted and drunk over two hours. Initially the nose was showing funk and tertiary notes but they started fading away after 30 minutes. Fully resolved and mature, silky smooth with sour cherries, porcini mushrooms and panfried steak. An elegant medium bodied wine that should be aerated for an hour or more.

Decanted 45 minutes and enjoyed over 2 hours. Very nice and fully mature, with nice fruit and secondaries. I just didn't feel it hit the highs of the best Giacosa wines. Just a little incomplete for me. B+/A-

An hour of air was enough to wake this up, so fresh and pretty! Silky, ripe, elegant fruit, really well balanced and just drinking great right now.

Popped 4 hours prior to serving into Zalto Burgundy glass (“Leaf” day): Pale bricking with fine deposits.
Some detectable VAs upfront. Tomato notes.
Lots of fruit as support on palate but still likely some issues with conditions. Will refrain from scoring this.
