Classic McLaren Vale Shiraz. Huge forward fruit, seamless flavour and lovely mouthfeel, very long on the palate and some nice savoury character. Can't wait to enjoy a vertical tasting including this vintage.

Drank with Peter Chu, who had received it as a gift from the winery. Very impressive indeed for such a young wine. A real conversation stopper. Great depth and an impressive nose for such an undeveloped wine. Not yet integrated but all the elements are there. Wonderful structure. I think it would blind taste very well against a Hill of Grace.
