My first Petit Verdot. Violet and black fruit on the nose. Delicious, ripe black fruit that some might consider a fruit bomb, but the tannins are gripping and allow the wine to finish with a smooth elegance. Another fine effort by Ty Caton.

Inky dark, with a heavy mouthfeel. Berries, but very dark so it doesn't feel fruit forward. Acidity that takes a little time to hit your mouth. Very good - contemplating getting more, but we've got a ton of Ty Caton around now
