Fine NSG evolving wine. Improved since last tasting. Double-decanted. Mid-dark ruby, amber-brick edges; earthy, animal, musk, black cherry and leather nose; balanced tannins/acids; good fruit; Pinot character; long smooth rich finish. w/lamb

Garnet core with orange rim Light minty thyme aromas with some tea and mushroom Drying out a bit on the palate, With an hour of air, this still has some life, but fading

Medium garnet colored with a dense crust on the bottle. A fair amount of sour cabbage aromas on first whiff which blew off rather quickly. Rather savory sour cherry flavors in a definitively rustic package. I like it, but would be a bit hesitant to serve it at a dinner party for the rusticity

Light-mid brick, amber edges; earthy, wood, black cherry, light flowery nose; mid-body, balanced, decent tannins, a little rough and one-dimensional on the finish.
