  Very dark in the glass. Nose is nicely perfumed. Good vibrant fruit, spice and a little white pepper. Clearly from a warmer climate. A little hot in the mouth. Tannin structure very full and youthful. Nice sweet blackberry. Finish is long and hot, but smokey with lingering Italian herbs. Decent drinker. I'd cellar for a few more years though. NOTE: Careful decant required! 2 bottles of this and both had a significant sediment...
