Lively red fruit, sandlewood, and leather notes. Medium bodied and went surprisingly well with szechuan dumplings. There's a Lodi and Contra Costa bottling of this Red blend. They're similar and I remember the Lodi having darker fruit and smoke, while this one is more elegant and from a cooler site.

The last bottle from my cellar. No formal notes. This has become more black fruited; structure remains status quo. Apropos, this remains an delicious wine that begs for food. The RTW series from CCC and Lodi continue to be one of the wines I look forward to most each year. Drink now and over through 2030.

Deep ruby. Leather and forest floor on the nose. On the palate tea leaves and sage, fruit is in the background, high acidity, bright and in a good place. May improve further.

Many Dudes, Much Carignan, some Mourvedre, Side of Brett (George-fucking-town): Purple. Rather closed nose to begin with, but returning after an hour or so yields some rocks and tangy red fruit. The palate follows with red fruit, perhaps tart cherry, with a good bit of grip and moderate length. The fruit here is definitely more tangy on the palate than I recall from the last bottle a year or so ago.
