this is drinking marvelously right now. Classic currants with structured tannins which are the hallmarks of Howell Mountain. this is a great QPR - wish i had more.

Day 3. Aromas of mossy green, hay, black fruit. Palate with a floral and licorice up front. Lilac, but very forceful on the rather bitter tannin. Give this wine some time, I guess. How much press juice goes into this cuvee?
