While there are always great new wines coming every year, occasionally you still wish you might have bought a few more bottles of a vintage when they were available. The 2010 Trapiche Gran Medalla is one of those vintages - rated 92 points by Wine Spectator with decent QPR. This Argentinian Cabernet Sauvignon has a nose of dark berries and balsamic. It’s full-bodied with fine tannins and a smooth texture. There are notes of ripe cherries, raspberries, and cassis with a long finish. There were surprisingly few cases imported so I’m glad I got several bottles when I had the chance. Cheers. 🍷
