Popped and poured. Blackberry and plum with hints of musty earth on the nose. Juicy with flavors of spice and earth. Tannins are very mild. Not overpowering but also not a lightweight. Nice drinking Pinot.

Willamette Valley Weekend Visit; 5/26/2018-5/27/2018: Tasting at the winery. Lots of black cherry throughout with charming nose showing a trace of sausage. Similar flavors, just less forward today, with meaty spice in the middle and a slightly backward finish. I suspect a few years in the cellar have been kind to this wine, and a few more years will help further.

Lot’s of alcohol on the nose and in the mouth. Wine may have turned, may need to sit for few hours. Not good.

Opened up nicely after a few hours. Definitely not a PnP Pinot Noir.

Lots and lots of black cherry with new oak and slightly sweet spice, followed by some roasted meat notes. Very good now.
