Sourced entirely from Grand Cru vineyards in Ambonnay, this rosé is comprised of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir. Disgorged 2/7/2021 and given a dosage of 8 g/l, it carries the lot identifier of L192183. Medium-to-deep salmon in color and flaunting a brisk tiny bead, it serves up a delightful aromatic profile of strawberries, blood oranges, quince, bread dough, honeysuckle and saline. Medium-bodied, vibrantly acidic and with flavors that are commensurate with the nose, it retains good density on the mid-palate and concludes with a crisp, lengthy finish. If this were in a blind non-vintage rosé Champagne tasting, I suspect that it would prevail against most of its large-house competitors. Drink now-2027.

Salmon pink color. Strawberries, minerals, herbs, and nice toasted, brioche notes. Steady stream of fine bubbles with a delicate mousse. An elegant champagne.

(Probably from the late 1980s) Lovely orange red colour with streams of very fine bubbles rising in the glass. Lovely maturing nose showing wild strawberries, minerals and opens up with herbs and a meaty feeling in a very pleasant way. Lovely strawberries sweetness on the palate with a smooth and creamy mid before the pleasant finish takes over showing a round and meaty Pinot finish in a delicious way. This was very well made and still showing excellent, especially with some extra time in the glass! (Still very lively and expressive after 30+ years..)

As promised a revisit now with several hundred bottles of champagne more experience.
Opens up with strong cherry, sweetish intense cherry. At first a bit simple but excellent juiciness.
Then slowly opens up, a bit more acidity coming through. On the palate again cherry and red currant with acidic bite too. Slowly also some sour bitter finish after the initial sweet cherry blast.
This is still the old label Bernard Bremont had a new label design since then. So this bottle has at least 2 years bottle age (just to keep in mind).
Still great great value at this super low price (directly even cheaper). And it ages quite nicely too it seems.
Even really nice freshness and fruit sweetness without a hint of candied dosage.
