  The combination of Merlot elegance with Syrah punch works surprisingly well here. Quite intense, hybrid old and new world feel. Happy to drink this once in a while.

  Dense ruby purple.
  Perhaps a bit of an outlier with some more pepper and spice. Dry with needing perhaps a bit more time to come around

  Yves's Memorial; 11/10/2018-11/11/2018 (MO): Very young, despite being mostly '07? As this opened it gained in pepper and spice clearly showing the syrah in the blend. Really interesting, and stood out from the rest bdx.

  4 Mini Vertical Tastings (Sammarco, Togni, Conseillante, Palmer) (MG): Extremely young. Dense and compact fruit and overall a very interesting wine. Still very primary and it is crazy that this is a 2007 :-)
