  Delicious. Nose of butter, leather, oak, hints of smoke, grapite, sweet spice (vanilla?) and fruit. Elegant, rich, sweet in the mouth with layered sour ripe fruit (black cherry, cassis, blackberry) and lovely tame tannins. Medium acidity. Almost has a California style in the mid-palate, like a refined zinfandel. Slightly watery mid-palate but still delicious there, too.
