Superb village PM, 1er cru level: tropical fruit, almond, green apple, grapefruit, apricot, toast, peach, minerals note, great balance and long lasting finish.

Sam's 60th Birthday (The Krengels - Bannockburn IL): Small glass, brief note. Lots of peach, some apple, comes across as rich to start, then brighter on the long-ish finish. Excellent Village wine to enjoy now.

Very pale for 6 years; somewhat neutral nose with broad exotic summer stone fruit (white peach), honey, a touch of almond on the palate; luscious whole mouth texture. Lacking much in the way of minerality and acid of the 1er but an exceptional village wine. Drink now.
