a little too tanic day 1, soften day 2 but fruit went away. Bought in the tasting room, summer of 08, did go well with buttered popcorn like they promised

The wine was a purplish red with a pink rim. Nose had strawberry, cherry, blackberry, and a little pepper. The taste was powerful and full throughout the palate. There were lots of berries, but none dominated. A well balanced and great wine for the price. It went well with salad with pine nuts and a homemade light caesar dressing as well as with mozzarella cheese, but too much berry for lasagna. The second day it was more spicy and went well with dijon pork chops. I believe (from the two meals) it goes really well with garlic, crushed red peppers, and dijon.

Pretty decent pop and pour for the price. This was a winery purchase and we really didn't care for anything at Moshin. Essentially an $8 bottle lest we paid the tasting fees. All fruit and oak.

A perfectly fine P and P. Dark berry, light tannins, and smoothed out day 2.

Smooth light tannins. Hints of blackberry and pepper. Solid blend.
