Very aromatic, dark toned, still rather oaky. Black cherry, raspberry, some forest floor. Quite nice, but I'd still wait for another 2-3 years for the oak to integrate better, and it's got enough to keep it going.

This wine is like poetry in a bottle. It was everything I look for in a red wine. A very seductive nose composed of ripe blueberries, a hint of mint and cedar and something reminiscent of vanilla orchid (weird description, but it was just so intoxicating on the nose). Great concentration of black and blue fruits on the palate, but so elegant and so smooth because the tannins and the acid are very much integrated. All the components are in harmony. A special treat and worthy of seeking out. I believe the wine is drinking at its peak now and no further aging is required. Drink up!

Young and concentrated upon open but soon mellowed down into a balanced, smooth tasting bordeaux. 5 hours and there is no sign of fading. The type of wine you want to enjoy slowly over several hours.

Nez framboise et cerise très présent, rouge terre, tanins ronds, pas trop persistant, excellent!!!
