Black fruit up front transitioning smoothly into a higher noted core before finishing long on a great balance of tannin and lingering acidity. I was worried about this bottle since it didn't get treated the best over the last decade we had it, and... it's done very well. Loving this right now, and if you've got a bottle, I think it could go another decade at least if you wanted.

(Long Shadows Feather Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley) An aromatically appealing wine with high toned aromas of mocha, dried cranberry, cherry, and pencil box. The palate is smooth, supple and drawn out with dark fruit flavors and wound up, slightly dry tannins. Drops off a bit on the second half. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. 14.2% alcohol.

Pillow soft tannin and big fruit but beginning to show its age with tertiary flavors of resin coming through. Very long and delicious finish.

Very nice. The tannin has done its job - integrated well & held the fruit up alongside of protein. Otherwise, similar notes as last bottle.
