Intense grenache, spicy cinnamon, a hint of strawberry, but very, very little sweetness, and a medium finish. I suspect with a bit more time it'll mellow a bit and hit a few more notes still.

Very light in the glass for a grenache, with a brownish tint. The wine had some fruit but also had some harshness. Not a bad pizza wine, and its ~$15.00 price point is about right.

A fascinating take on Grenache from Lodi. Classic Grenache fruit with no jammy, overripe characters. Light color but intense flavor. Could pass for a Rhone-Villages. Nice spice/earth.

Fascinating wine that will clearly improve with time in the cellar. Tastes like a cross between the 'new wines" of California and an old-world Rhone. Strawberry, red raspberry and an earthiness (no hint of Brettanomyces). Light in color, medium-light bodied. No CdP bruiser but a seriously compelling wine.
