Some red fruit, a lot of vegetable green pepper flavors on attack, not much mid palate, and good length. Could develop more but will never be more than a 87-88 wine. Still, for $17, it is great QPR from Willamette Valley. The next step up in OR will cost you $10 more than this one in most cases.

Bottled under screwtop, procured directly from winery. Nose initially closed, opens up to sweet red fruit and rose petal with a hint of earth. Some tannin in the mouth, nice red and light black fruits, good middle, with a moderate length finish. Not meant to be a long ager, but very nice wine for drinking over the next 2-3 years, and typical of 2006 Oregon pinot noir. Great bargain, if you can find it.

Decent wine that benefitted from decanting for a couple of hours. A little thin in the total presentation but good flavors and clean finish with the decanting.

Four of us drank this and loved it. We loved the fruity nose and long finish. I don't know how some could only rate this in the low-mid 80's.
