  Past best, but fully developed after 4-5 hours of breathing. Fruit had faded but still some earthy tones and peppered spice and plum fruit character. Long finish and slightly acidic balance, cork lacking quality and perhaps responsible for slight in-balance. Missing that intense sweetness at that 4-5 year period, but still a quality wine.
