could smell the cherry upon opening the bottle, nice nose but a bit hot. pretty nice blend fruit up front, oak smooths it out and finishes without lingering

Wine needed some time in decantor to develop then the nose jumped out with dark cherry and floral notes, drank nicely the floral notes seemed to carry through with some nice cherry, blackberry and a touch short finish with a bit of oak- Acidity was really nice in this wine and made it go with food really well- Another winner from Alexander Valley Vineyards and you have to love the blend- Think this can improve with another year in bottle-I believe this was around $19
