Translucent light ruby color with thin amber rim. Cherry and red currants noted on the nose without detectable new oak. Light bodied red fruit on the palate with tart acidity and only 12.5% alcohol. This is a solid, if not particularly memorable, entry level Burgundy.

One-dimensional pinot noir. cherries and cotton candy on the nose, bit chalky, light-bodied, tannins show up, but short aftertaste. Decent but unremarkable. ps - Seems to open up a bit, after a while, will decant (if there is a next time).

High and tough tannins, absence of red berries.
