Non-blind. Decanted 6 hrs bf served at La Rochelle, Akasaka. Impression: one breath short of WOW. Impenetrably black violet. Small to medium rubbery nose with Malbec phenotype shining through the veils. On the palate, this is a stern, tannic padwan. Long, dark and fruit driven terroir-iste Malbec with (still?) glitches on the mid-palate. Given the grape, the structure and the good acids, this wine has the stuffing to evolve over the years. We loved the name of the wine and have one btl left for the future yonder. Maybe I get some more. Great QPR. (wife in accord)

Aged for 18 months in clay terracotta jars. Colour is a dark vibrant purple. Sediment. Aroma ... dark fruit, black-cherries, floral notes, earth and coffee. Flavours .... fresh flavours of cherries and strawberries .......... vibrant. Very smooth and dusty tannins, slightly drying. Spiciness, medium acidity, medium length of finish. Licorice on the finish. Bit of very pleasant bitterness on finish as well. Very tasty wine .... refreshing. For a young wine , there are elements one would associate with an older wine , and well as a newer wine's fresh fruit flavours.
