Judging by the bottle opened over the weekend, this could use a few more years. A little too much aggressive oak showing on the attack and mid palate, though better with air. Other than that, it acts like a good quality Washington Cabernet. Ripe blackberry, licorice, tobacco, and some earth.

(Long Shadows Feather Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley) An aromatically appealing wine with high toned aromas of mocha, dried cranberry, cherry, and pencil box. The palate is smooth, supple and drawn out with dark fruit flavors and wound up, slightly dry tannins. Drops off a bit on the second half. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. 14.2% alcohol.
