Decanted for around an hour. Nicely orange meniscus. Ready to drink. Nice berry notes. Missing my favorite cassis, but had nicely softened tannins. Drank it with snacks of English Blue Stilton, Cajun Boudin and, our favorite taste bud wake up, Italian Hot Cherry Peppers in Olive Oil stuffed with Proscuito and Parmeasean. The vessel made a difference too. In a Reidel Vinum Bordeaux, the tannins were more prominent while in an Eisch Bordeaux, they were much smoother. The rating is an average of the two glasses.

Dark fruit mixed with leather and earth, smooth with a medium finish and softer tannins.
