I've never warmed up to Cab-based (whether Cab Franc or Sauv) rosés, and this one is no exception. This is clearly well made, and in a nice style, but like most of them I find a certain earthy weediness in the flavors which, to me, is not attractive in a rosé -- not awful, but I just prefer grenache and mourvedre. Still, I'll keep trying them on occasion.

Dark salmon; tart raspberry, cherry, strawberry; slight ripe bell pepper nuance with grapefruit notes; searing acid, quite complex, yet still a fun wine. Label is beautiful too. Great summer rose--and stands out from all the Grenache, Pinot Noir based stuff out there.

Very pretty flowery and violetly nose. And then the intense cab franc palate. It works for me, maybe not for others.
