  • Quite light for a Shiraz, this shows notes of candied cherry and dried herbs on the nose, gaining traction on the palate with fine tannins and some leather and soil flavors.

  • Pulled from cheap Chinese wine keeper and popped and poured into Riedel Vinum Syrah glasses. Big deep nose of red fruit and dark chocolate. Slightly tart clean red fruit. Good depth and complexity. Well integrated tannins. Subtle vanilla on the clean moderately long finish. Good minerality and acid. Not very "Australian" but rather reserved and sorta Burgundian. Paired well with lamb shanks with rosemary & mint. Not a fruit bomb.
