Académie des Cinquante Tuscany Tasting (Buitenplaats Amerongen / Restaurant Bentinck, Amerongen, NL): Evolved colour, oxidative style. Second bottle fresher but also with evolved flavours, fully mature but sustained by its lively acidity and tannic structure, not as big as its 14.5% ABV would suggest. Has the alcohol caused a lack of balance?

It opened after some air and went well with tenderloin and christmas lunch.
My last bottle showed some future - tannin should be softer still.
