  Absolutely black in the glass - restrained and very deep nose with the floral and blackcurrant one expects of a good Carmenere floating on top. Dense and dark flavours on the palate. Med+ acid, alcohol and full bodied with med tannins that are fully ripe. Very smooth across the palate with no holes. Finish is med in length with the spice and dark fruit continuing. This is an elegant monster - good for another 5 years but delicious right now.
