Italian night @ Maurice (Netherlands): Opened and decanted 2 hours before tasting. Cool mountainwine. Not showing much in the beginning. Opens up after extensive aeration. This appears like a very stony, mineral, terroir-driven wine. Much more like a Chablis than a Cote d'Or.Yellow fruit is present in the back, playing a supportive role. A very nice wine and, for me, a really interesting and convincing take on Chardonnay. But not as discriminate as other wines from this producer. 17.5/20

Beautiful chard. Very stony and angular, with lovely nose of citrus and floral notes. Vibrant acid. I don't know if these wines age, but I see no reason to hold them.
