Good acidity, with notes of black cherry and compote on the nose, and flavors bitter cherries and cherry liqueur on the palate. Started opening up after 10 minutes, becoming rounder and more lush. Worked very well with a hard red winter wheat conchiglie pasta with hardy (slightly lardy) Bolognese sauce. Will also pair excellently with a lasagna dish. Began fading away after an hour.

Not as good as past Acorn Dolcettos. However, still a nice light and delicate Italian style wine from Sonoma.
