Drank with Thanksgiving dinner. Merlot and turkey turned out to be a pretty good idea. Good pop and pour and fairly tasty fruit. A little on the simple side, probably not the best QPR at $25-30.

Deep dark fruit, cassis and blackberry, black licorice, dried herbs, a little meaty, menthol.
N: Big, Clove and SpiceP: Sweet. Slight blackcurrant, black plum, tart. A bit hot, medium bodied, pretty dry.F: Dry and tannic.
Nice balanced wine. Needs more time or an hour or 2 decant. The oak blows off and there is a beautiful nose of red berries and flowers. Nice medium body and a medium long finish. Well done.
Still very uneven. Lots of flavor competing with each other. The Cab stands out, and the blend might be better if it focused on it. All things aside it is a good wine, and not bad for the price point.
