Dark red for a Pinot. Luscious black cherry and raspberry fruit, nicely tart, that opened up beautifully after an hour. Went well with Chicken Florentine and dressing.

Bottled in CA, this Willamette Valley wine tased a lot like a CA wine-- off balance a bit in its acid/oak profile and tasting a little of stewed, overly ripe fruit. Some very nice moments that almost--but never quite-- hinted of basic Gevrey warmth and body, with lots of strawberry, some kirsch and a lot of wood. Not impressive.

Nicely mature, still plenty of fruit, strawberries, raspberry and cherries. Balancing tartness, and a large finish.

Ripe red fruit, touch of menthol, nice concentration and depth. Really solid Oregon Pinot.
