From Mencia to Nederburg (Mato, HK): Lily and chamomile, delightfully dry. Somm actually usually pairs it with tonic like gin and tonic, understandable.

Straw toward gold color, bright and clear. Nuts, caramels, toffee bits, spice, orchard fruits. Some viscosity on the palate, though the suggestion of sweetness on the nose does not carry through and the wine finished dry. Short>Medium finish, clean. My guests loved it more than I; though I won't seek it out, I'd gladly drink it as an aperitf wine again. 19,5% abv. is rather well integrated
PnP, served non-blind at ~ 50F
