Probably the single best bottle I've had from this producer. I'm not surprised that this was under cork, instead of the typical glass closure that they use. Haven't had great luck with older bottles under glass closure.

A lot of Pinot Noirs (My backyard): I bought this on release but this was my first taste. Very nice. Pale ruby in color, the lightest wine on the table. Nice cherry fruit. A bit of a green streak but not bad. Very feminine. Light cherries, layer of complexity. Seems about at peak. A really pretty wine that is unique.

Really nice Pinot Noir from the Finger Lakes. Compares well to Cali PN in the same price range. Bright red fruit, cherries and strawberries, well balanced with a light to medium mouth feel. Drinking well now with plenty of bottle life left. Is scoring 89-91.

Dinner at Warren's home (Pittsburgh): Opened 90 minutes prior to consumption. Light to medium bodied Finger Lakes Pinot Noir. Lots of red fruit, strawberries and cherries. Good acidity and tasty, but a bit simple for a barrel reserve. If scoring 88-90.

Medium body with cherry, strawberry, and some earth. Very easy to drink. Silky mouthfeel. Wonderful food wine.
